PolyNatural® Vine Halo are uniquely engineered to biodegrade in both aqua and soil environments. The main raw material has been independently tested for marine, water and soil biodegradation, ensuring that if the product ever reaches the waterways, it will naturally break down by being consumed by microbes. Importantly, these protectors also biodegrade on land through microbial activity. The length of time it takes to degrade will depend on the environment. The expected lifespan is 1-2 years.
While the marine biodegradability adds value by addressing the risk of land-based debris reaching the sea, the soil biodegradability ensures that PolyNatural® protectors are a responsible choice for all planting environments. As always, responsible disposal is encouraged, and these features are not an invitation to litter.
